I'm an ADAS Software Engineer at Subaru of America. I do steering control algorithms, robotics, deep learning for lane detection, and occasionally messing with a research vehicle. All of it comes back to making EyeSight better (for our zero fatalities goal) or finding cheaper, smarter ways to lower the cost while not cutting corners.

Lately I've been drifting toward the ML / research engineer side of things. More PyTorch these days. Vision or controls, same throughline: take an idea from a paper, turn it into something that make car nyoom itself safely :0
